Lithium 2032 batteries for MP900

This is probably a daft Q, but can one (or should one?!) use rechargeable 2032s in the 900 series MobilePros? I've not changed mine for years - now need to and have only just discovered that the '2032s' come in both 'normal' and 'rechargeable' versions.
